Broadcasters and content producers are under pressure to do more with less. The explosion of high quality content utilizing present distribution avenues (such as fiber, satellite and network technologies such as ATM, SONET and SDH) are becoming increasingly costly. Newer technologies (such as IP delivery and newer compression methods) promise cost reduction as well as quality improvements at lower bit rates. Join as we look at MPEG and JPEG2000 solutions ported over IP networks. Prior to joining T-VIPS, Mr. Lograsso held sales and marketing positions with Miranda and Sony.
