February Meeting

Special All Day Session on Project Management
As our systems become more and more complex so do the projects to implement them. Ensuring project success requires the ability to manage your projects wisely. Developing project management skills is essential.
The goal of this all day workshop is to introduce you to the principals and best practices of Project Management. Experts in the field will guide you through the complete life cycle of a sample project, from concept to closeout. You will gain experience with the tools used by the project management industry.
Workshops like this typically cost hundreds of dollars but SMPTE is providing this for the cost of your lunch and materials. Only $30 for early registration and $40 for late registration (after February 14th). This fee covers your lunch and materials. (Break refreshments supplied by our sponsors).
This special seminar will begin at 9AM, Saturday February 21, and conclude at 5PM. The location will be the Turner Techwood campus, Building 1015. Please note that lunch, snacks, and course materials will be provided.
